My desire to decorate cakes and confections started in High School when I was bitten by the "Chef bug" attending different campuses and kitchens.  After much debate and being completely horrified of butchering meats, I decided that I would follow the many great bakers in my family and attend Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA for an associate degree in pastry arts.  I followed that degree with a B.S in Technology management and found myself working for large retailers as a bakery assistant manager.

I decided to go into my own business after years of decorating cakes by certain sets of rules and feeling restricted.  I bought out a lot of my cake and candy supplies from a chocolate company that went out of business and started to really practice chocoletiering and cake design.  Sweetness by Tacy LLC was officially in business in 2010 and I have been so blessed to be a part of so many lives and celebrations.

Sweetness by Tacy has won "Best Restaurant" in the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensembles Taming of the brew in 2011.  You may have also tasted some of my favorite goodies during the 10th Birthday party at the Lehigh Valley Zoo and the anniversary celebration at Rothrock in Allentown, PA in 2015.

 

I have been working very hard on my recipes during the last decade constantly re-writing and improving all items on my menu and working hard to offer cakes, cookies, treats, and other goodies that will make your special event more memoriable.  Customer service is important to me and I strive to constantly keep in touch with you throughout the planning process.

At this time I am not operating in a storefront but I use certified kitchens to prepare your goodies and remain insured so that I can work with you no matter where your event is held.  If you like to remain in constant contact regarding your order I am available through text message 24 hours a day.

​

My home is based out of New Tripoli, Pennsylvania right off the Blue Mountains.  I am happy to deliver my goodies between Lehigh, Northampton, Bucks, Carbon, and Columbia counties for no charge and offer a minimal charge to bring goodies outside of my service area.  I look forward to bringing a "Sweet and Special Touch" to your next celebration.
